Here's the Simple Procedure to Add Clickbank Ads to Your Site:

First, Select the Subject Area for Your Ads.

Since Clickbank has thousands or products, you should have no problem finding products for your site. Take a couple of minutes to search for products now with the search box below.

You can search the Clickbank data file two ways:

1. Single term: You can enter a single term like weight loss, quit smoking or cancer.
2. Multiple alternatives: You can search for any of several terms by using a search like:
   (no money down)|(foreclosure)
   where each term is enclosed in parenthesis with a vertical bar separating each term.

The meaning of the tag values is:

• The topic. Here it is "fishing"

• Ad format. Here the format is "I" indicating an inline format.

For "inline" ads there is no need for the bordercolor and cellcolor items so you can omit them.

Third, Add the Tag to Your Page.

The Clickbank tag can be added anywhere on your page. You just need to enter the tag on one line.

When the page is requested, the Web Page Preprocessor System will find the tag, locate the best selling products for the topic you selected, and replace the tag with the HTML code that displays those products.

That all there is to it.

Clickbank Data File

The Clickbank ads come from your own Clickbank data file on your server. This "database" is a regular file, so you don't have to have MySQL or any other fancy database tools. You can also choose how frequently your data file is updated.

The default link text and descriptions of the products are taken from the Clickbank XML data feed. In addition, you can specify that the "title" and "description" fields from the actual product website be examined for top selling products. With this option, the longer of the Clickbank link text or website title will be used; and the longer of the Clickbank description or the website "description" field will be used. This gives the most accurate descriptions.

You can create your Clickbank data file with the Web Page Preprocessor system's menu. But, the easiest way is to go through your cPanel and create a "cron" job that automatically creates your data file every week. I use a cron job to automatically get the latest products from Clickbank every week.

Dynamic Product Selection

You select the products to display by specifying keywords or phrases that must be contained in either the product link text or description. You can also specify several phrases that will pick products having any of the phrases in their link text or description fields.

Always Display Most Popular Products

Products in your data file are sorted by their popularity in the best category in which they appear. So, as your data file is searched, the top selling products will be found first. This gives you the opportunity to offer the best selling products all the time.
